Should/Can I take the ACT to increase my chances for RD at Georgetown?

I applied EA to Georgetown's College of Arts and Sciences and was deferred. I was disappointed but definitely not shocked. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.8 Unweighted, 4.0/4.1 Unweighted (Taking the most rigorous classes each year)
Class Rank: 10 out of 112
SAT I: 1920 (610M, 640CR, 670W)
SAT II: 560 American History, 570 Math II, Literature 580

Extra Curriculars:
Concert Band
FBLA: 9th at State Conference in Community Service
Forensics (Speech and Debate): Debate Captain, 4 time NCFL national qualifier 2 time NFL qualifier, 6th at the Pennsylvania State Championship all in Lincoln Douglas debate.
Envirothon Conference
Scholastic Team (Quiz Bowl)
NHS- Vice President
Community Service- well over 300 hours
Yearbook Staff

Georgetown Alumni Interview: Went over quite well, my interviewer was quite impressed with my ECs and said I was the most involved applicants she had ever seen.

My question is this: I know that my test scores are what killed me. Is it too late for me to take the ACT and have it considered for RD?

If it is not too late, is it even worth it? Do you think that if I get a 30 or some other score within their range that I have a shot at acceptance?

I think you should start focusing on your other schools and put Georgetown on the back burner. The only thing I would send them is an official copy of your latest grades. Other than that, let it go. At this point in time, they have everything else they need to make their final decision.

Start loving some of the other schools on your list. Don’t lose hope on Georgetown, but don’t let it consume your thoughts. Move on and focus on your other schools.
