Should I apply early or late?

I want to go to Indiana University really bad. And I was told by them, that the time at which you apply doesn’t matter. And since my grades aren’t exactly the greatest (though there is an uptrend) should I wait until after 1st semester of senior year, or apply early?

21 ACT

Next year 4 AP classes

My take is if im able to pull though with these AP classes, they might rethink about my GPA.

By early do you mean ED or EA?
By late do you mean RD?
