Should I Apply ED to Brown?

<p>I was wondering if I should apply ED, because I really want to go there, but my parents are telling me there's no way that I'm applying ED because then we will be locked financially, and my parents want to see which school makes the best offer. What should I do?</p>

<p>@entomom The affordability is not the issue. My parents could pay for it all if they wanted to. It’s just that they don’t want to pay for it. I wont get any financial aid from FAFSA, so if I get accepted ED, wouldn’t I have to go, since I technically COULD pay for it, but my parents don’t want to?</p>

<p>If you state that you can’t afford to pay (everyone views ‘ability to pay’ differently), the ED school will accept that, no school can force you to attend.</p>
