Should I apply ED1?

I'm pretty sure Vassar is my top choice. I have a 3.73/4.27 UW/W GPA. My SAT is bad 1910 but I'm retaking on November 7th and expect a 2100 so those scores will make it in time. I have very strong ECs. Also I know they ask for a quarter grade report, and I have 3 As and 3 Bs on it, but I expect 5As and 1B by the end of the semester.

So should I apply early or am I better off just waiting until RD?

Bumpppppppppp

What about ED-II?

if Vassar is where you want to go, ED I gives you the highest statistical advantage. But like a silver bullet, you can only fire it once so make sure Vassar is the right target.

My advice is this – I think you have to be pretty confident that you will get better SAT scores if you want to apply there. Also, that’s a lot of Bs in there for the first quarter report. I’ll go so far as to say that if you apply RD that you will likely be denied. Seems your only chance is ED1, and I would say you are far from a given there. Sorry to give that view, but it is a tough school to get into. Their 25-75 SAT range is 2010-2300. Also, they require SAT Subject Matter tests or ACT with writing portion. Have you taken those?
