Hi, I've applied to FSU and am getting my decision on the march date. I have a 2060 SAT, 29 ACT, 3.4 GPA unweighted and a 4.3 weighted; my academic core GPA is 3.6 if that helps. I took 4 AP classes and will graduate with 7 dual enrollment classes. I have been in band for my four years of high school and have 100 community service hours. I'm sort of worried that I won't be able to get in, and that if I do get in I won't be able to afford it, so I'm considering applying for the CARE program but I'm confused and have a few questions. If I apply to CARE and am not accepted to it, can I still be accepted for the fall as a regular student? I've heard that if you get in to CARE you must go or not attend FSU at all. That's ok with me. But I'm worried that if I apply for CARE and get rejected because they don't feel I am that disadvantaged, that I blew my chances of getting accepted at all. Help?

P.S. Neither of my parents went to college and that has made this whole process very hard on me. They make $51,000 combined per year for a five person household and I don't know where that stands with FSU as far as economic disadvantage.

Thank you :)
