Okay so, that my high school grades aren't the best so currently I'm going to community college in order to get a Oregon transfer degree so that I can transfer (have something pretty on paper) to a regular college, but as a Freshman, not a Junior.
Right now I'm studying foreign languages and plan to enroll at the community college and the the local University in order to have all the classes I want (we have a program that lets us do this), plus since I am also working part time (25hrs a week) I can only enroll in three classes a week (which is considered the minimum for being a full time student depending on the classes). To get this done as fast as possible I also plan on enrolling summer term (I didn't get a chance this last summer because of personal and finacial reasons). It should take me about 2 to 2.5 years to get it. In the meantime should I see if I can get into Reed like this or just wait until I get the tranfer degree and have something good to show?

Im here mostly to learn the things that reed doesnt offer much of, but afterthat I would prefer to take most of the classes reed does offer at reed, so thats why I was wondering if I should go for the full degree or just the classes reed doesnt offer

I posted on your other thread. Have you checked Reed’s policies? I don’t think you will be able to enter Reed (or any college) as a first year student if you have completed one term let alone 2 years of college elsewhere. You should check Reed’s admissions and FA policies for how they consider transfer applications (need blind or aware? I believe they do guarantee full need) as well as how they will accept your college credits/2 year degree. What you take now at CC will affect what credits will transfer and what you have to take at Reed for distribution req’s. Reed has a super rigorous core and it is very rare to transfer in as a junior. <a href=“Transfer Applicants - Admission - Reed College”>http://www.reed.edu/apply/guide-to-applying/transfer/index.html
