My school's scholarship applications just opened yesterday and I was going to apply - until I realized that some have resume and certain GPA requirements. The problem is that I'm an incoming freshmen so I obviously don't have a GPA yet.

The deadlines are all the way up to February so should I wait until I actually build up a GPA or just apply now anyway?

Thanks!

I’m confused. Are you a freshman in high school or college.

Sorry freshman in college

Are these scholarships for continuing students? If so, why not ask someone in the financial aid department when to apply.

I just read some fine print stating that if you’re a freshman in college you must submit your high school GPA in order to apply – so I guess I found the answer to my own question! thanks anyway :)

I think you need to check these scholarships and make sure they are not for incoming freshmen.
