Should I apply to Duke E.D b/c of legacy!???

So I’m considering mostly southern colleges for example…
Duke
Vandy- heard mixed things, but I plan on touring in the early fall
Elon- thinking maybe a safety?
Wake Forest- I scheduled an interview here in August
UVA
Richmond- so/so impression
William & Mary
Davidson- hope to tour in the early fall

But I have not ruled out strong northeastern schools entirely.

With a 33 on the ACT and legacy (parent + sibling) at Duke, I’m curious as to my chances at other schools. Duke would most likely be a wise E.D choice, but I don’t want to box myself in and only apply because of the legacy…because if I get in, a part of me feels as though I’ll never know where else I could have gone. Wondering what my chances are at other schools (good school without a legacy etc.)

I’ve had a steady job at a physical therapy office for the past two summers, where I have learned a LOT and am likely going to write my personal essay around my experience and what I’ve learned about working/about myself & others

As far as ECs…
President of NHS for senior year
Captain of the Dance team (required knee surgery after injury my freshman year but then decided to come back and start dancing again) & Co-Chair of the Dance Club
Basketball manager for 4 years (my grandfather was a statistician for Princeton football back as a young adult, so he has enjoyed talking with me about this)…also would like to increase the support for womens sports in HS & college!
Helped raised over $1000 for the Mental Health Awareness Club at my school to donate to NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness)- my grandmother has Alzheimers disease
An editor for my school’s literary magazine (we have won many awards in the past)

I currently attend a private high school in New Jersey and have good teacher reccs and I’m looking good for my personal essay, as I feel I could really incorporate personal elements and be authentic and not snobbish.

Any tips would be appreciated:) Does anyone think I should take the ACT again? I got the 33 on my third time taking it so…

Your stats and ECs look great. Your scores are fine, I would spend your time elsewhere. No doubt you’ll have a lot of options come decision time. What other schools are you considering?

If you got into every single school on your list and would still choose Duke-- apply ED. Otherwise don’t bother
