Hi! I’m a mexican high school student and I want to study Mechanical Engineering abroad.
I’m in my country’s best technological school, at the Automotive Mechanics specialty, I studied a technical career in the same area two years ago, and a robotics course in middle school. My GPA so far is between 3.7 and 2.7, I know I can do better (I got low grades in two subjects, around 1.7, I don’t know if it can get trouble when applying). I’ve participated in international science contests, and two national competitons (not exactly about science). I’m learning Korean, I’ve done a lot of work as a volunteer, and I’m a member in my school’s math and physics clubs (I’m studying to go to the national olympiads). Also, I’m developing a project to improve some aspects in car’s security, I’m hoping to go to the national science fair with it.
There’s still two semesters until I graduate, but I’m very curious about which college/university should I apply for. KAIST is my favorite, but what would you suggest?
