Is it worth it? I need a saftey school… it’s either Riverside or Merced… which one?

merced. Merced is fresh and new. Riverside is good however, MErced seems to be more promising than Riverside in the future.

people are saying that if u apply, you're set, they'll admit you. I doubt its 100%... does anyone else think this?

I think Merced is admitting everyone who meets the UC requirements. I know thats what they did for last year's applicants.

yea..they have a 95% admit rate..so just make sure you complete the UC minimum eligibility requirements..and you're set

Once you are admitted and u have like a D in one of the classes u are taking during senior year......will UC Merced reject your admission ?

but i mean, i'm applying to 3 CSU's .... and those are my safties. Do i really NEED another saftey like merced?

Has anyone actually been to UCM? how is it? is there still A LOT of construction? Are the dorms as nice as i've heard they are? Also, i think i'd want to visit before i apply, about how far away is Merced from the bay area?

maybe go to a junior college then transfer, rather than merced.
I got the ELC letter and they said im accepted in merced if i apply, but i dun think i will apply there
