Should I apply to MITES?

The trimester at my school ended today and I'm freaking out. It's looking like I will get 4 B's(high B's, but B's nonetheless) this trimester. I've been really busy this year, with college classes, AP and IB classes, volunteer work, a research internship, and working to pay for the college classes. I'm just really unsure now. It seems like everyone else is doing more than me and managing to excel at everything.

STATS:
GPA: 3.7
SAT: 2360
PSAT: predicting pretty high, only one question that I'm unsure about
EC's: Mu Alpha Theta, Science Society, Science Olympiad, Academic Quiz League, Fort Worth Astronomical Society
Recs: Great, one's really personal
Black male
Income: (>50,000)
Single parent household

Thanks for any advice. I don't want to get my hopes up for something that's very unlikely.

If you’re excited about it, you should apply :)

Give it a shot.

Okay, I’ll try. Thanks :)

You’ve got nothing to lose, so you might as well give it a shot

Definitely Apply.

Quick Question. I’m a white female from a rural public school (although my family is middle class). Would I be eligible to attend MITES?

wait why are we talking about summer programs already?
