Hi, I am an in-state student looking forward to study ad in my sophomore year. Both schools admitted me but SVA is more expansive and FIT requires an additional year in communication design and another application to ad which might be uncertain. My financial status could pay for both and I am not looking for jobs immediately after college, though I would love to have some real hands-on experience and internship so I can know what I am actually good at vs. what I think I am good at.
To know a bit more about me, I think I am a creative, thoughtful individual, and I love psych in additional to art. However, although I have some interesting ideas, my execution remains inadequate to present them. I enjoy creative atmosphere and criticisms are okay to me as long as it improves my work. I am not a fan of cliques though I can handle them if I must. What are some pro & cons of each college and how to survive and thrive in both?
