I think I posted this somewhere before too, but oh well....

Here's my situation- I have a 3.955 UW GPA (out of 4), so I would say that it's pretty good. BUT since my graduating class is tiny, and the rank is unweighted, my class rank is absolutely horrible: 14/52, which is a 28%. I'm aiming for Notre Dame and several other good schools.
Other than my class rank, I'd say that I'm a pretty strong student: 35 ACT, 2270 SAT (will not submit), and 8 AP tests.
My grades only went below an A (2 A-, 1 B+) during sophomore year because I took 3 weeks off in the middle of the school year due to a visa issue. And then my junior/senior year grades were all A's, including the AP classes.
So I really don't want my class rank an UW GPA to ruin everything.
Will it?

Does your transcript show your rank? Many small schools like yours don’t report rank in connection with college applications. If it isn’t reported to your colleges, it won’t be a factor.

Well, most selective colleges like their students to be in the top 10%, but they will take into consideration the unweighted rank and the number of APs you’re taking. It sounds like you are taking hard classes and doing well in them, which is good.
