Should I be worried?

I’m graduating high school with pretty good stats. My ACT is a 30. I have a 5.27 weighted and 4.5 unweighted GPA. In both the Cambridge and Dual Enrollment programs, graduating with AA degree and AICE diploma (equal to an IB diploma). About 150 community service hours, mostly at a hospital and an elementary school. I’m in JROTC, NHS, and I started a club called AICE Student Union where I am now one of the three primary student leaders. I’ve also held a job since the beginning of my junior year.

However, i have a few bad grades in dual enrollment classes. I have one D, one F, and one C. My grades everywhere else are great, close to perfect actually. But I’m afraid that FSU will see these bad grades and throw my application out. Should I be worried?

Nahhhh

With one D and one F, yeah, that’s cause for concern. Luckily, programs like Cambridge are things FSU loves, and sometimes gets them to overlook an issue or two on transcripts.

I’d say you’ll probably be fine, but there is a chance that the F especially could get you deferred until March.
