Should I be worried?

I got accepted to Tufts ED last month and am thrilled to attend but…

I recently took my AP calc midterm and am pretty sure I got like a 10% no joke: Im absolutely terrible at calc and completely butchered all of the open ended section, and found myself guessing on tons of multiple choice. I studies quite hard but I think I was mostly teaching myself the material rather than reviewing it… Anyways, I know Tufts don’t receive your midterm exam grades but they do receive my end of the year transcript, where my math grade will be calculated with whatever ridiculously bad grade received on the midterm… The point is, I’m most likely going to get a C in the class (83/82 last 2 semesters). I don’t think that will be an issue for the Tufts admissions people when they review my final year grades in May, but I was wondering if any of you guys had any feedback on whether or not I should worry bout this. thanks

One C is not going to get your application rescinded. I’m sure it will raise some eyebrows, but they accepted you based on a multitude of reasons other than your grades, and one bad grade your senior year isn’t going to make them let you go. I would say try not to go bellow a C though. Congratulations on your acceptance! Hope I get to join you EDII :). AP Calc is annoying :)). If you’re not applying for engineering, you’ll be fine, and even then. Just don’t get a D or an F!
