Should I be worried?

I guess it's my guilty conscience bothering me, but my last semester grades of high school were terrible and I'm starting to panic because my MyUCLA account hasn't posted any of my AP scores or indication that they've received my transcripts. I made the unweighted 3.0 gpa requirement, but I'm worried that my acceptance has been rescinded anyway and the things I sent ignored. I've been out of the country on vacation since school ended, so I haven't been able to call the admissions office or my school to make sure my transcripts have even been sent.

Is there anyone out there who hasn't seen their AP scores posted on myucla yet? Or their transcript status changed to "received"?

they received my AP scores a while ago, but i sent them in may

they also received my transcript. i think you should call them because i THINK the deadline for receiving transcripts may have passed

as for your grades, as long as you didn't get a D you should be fine with your 3.0

No Mr. Muffin, the transcript deadline is July 15.

Lartic, as long as you don't violate your admissions contract that came with your acceptance letter, you don't have to worry about being rescinded. If they don't get you transcript by the July 15 deadline, they will call you (says MyUCLA) and you can probably work it out with them to get your grades to them quickly. They haven't received my transcript yet either, and they still haven't received ONE of my AP scores for some reason, but I'm not worrying. Don't worry and give it some time, unless you sent your AP scores a while ago, then maybe you should call to inquire about that. But don't worry. You'll be fine. :)

I don't think AP scores can hurt you in anyway AFTER you've already been accepted.

Nope, AP scores can't hurt. It's just nice to get 'em in before orientation in case they affect your class needs.

Holy crap i just realized that your name was mr muffin, nice.

Is Mr. Muffin's first name Mick or Stud?

Did you get any C's this past year? If so, how many?

I requested my AP scores to be sent when I took the tests back in May. And I'm worried about not having the scores because I might need them at Orientation.

I don't think I violated my admissions contract...I didn't get anything lower than a C or drop any classes. The part that says "If your grades drop significantly" confuses me. Does it just mean getting D's or F's, or is that at the discretion of admissions people? I never got a C in high school until the last semeser when I got 2 C's. (Yeah, I totally effed up. Please to don't make me feel any worse than I already do.) But my other grades were fine and my GPA didn't drop below 3.0.

..you know what? I'm going to call UCLA admissions right now, but while I'm at it, please reassure me that I'm not going to be going to a JC this fall....

why would you get rescinded. you didnt do anything wrong...you made the gpa requirement. you would have been notified if you are at risk for being rescinded.

You're fine then.

You're not going to a JC. You're going to UCLA, baby! :D

Hey, thanks everyone.
It turned out my high school just sent my transcript (when I asked them over a month ago...) and admissions staff haven't finished posting AP scores. And stupid CSUF didn't send a complete transcript. I'm still in a bit of a mess, but at least I'm going to UCLA! See you guys there!

no we wont because your ass is getting rescinded
