Should I bother applying? Need aid [international]

I know I’m a little late, but I recently got an email from SMU saying I will get an application fee waiver if I apply by January 15.

But I’m an international student and I cannot attend unless I get close to full tuition scholarship. How generous is SMU with their merit aid? Are any international students even known to get aid? I believe my SAT score will be a problem.

If I don’t get much aid, I see no point in writing the two 250-word supplements.

I’ll be majoring in Computer Science and here are my stats:
School: 92% (9th), 95% (10th ICSE), 84% (11th) - 100 or 99 percentile in school throughout
New SAT: 1460 (680 ERW + 780 M)
SAT subject tests: 800 (Math level 2) and 790 (Physics)
ECs (very condensed): built games and applications in multiple programming languages, worked on a tech blog, did well at Cyber Olympiads; also district level football; 5 years of guitar

P.S.: SMU is not religious like it sounds, right? I’m an atheist.

SMU is not really religious at all it exists if you want to pursue it, but it has not been affiliated in a long time its a name only kind of deal. And I could see you being competitive for the president scholars program which is a full ride they take 20-30 a year. Its a great deal if you get it

Are you sure about that? I thought (still think) my SAT score is low. I was not able to finish the test in time. I looked it up and the median SAT score is 1500. (http://www.smu.edu/Academics/PS/Application)

Also, as an international student, I’m not sure if I even qualify
