Should I Bother Sending the ACT?

Ok, I got a 2030 (680 math, 680 reading, 670 writing) and a 2020 (720 math, 670 reading, 630 writing) on the SATs. I just got back my ACT scores (very disappointed by the way, was expecting a 33, didn't finish math or science sections though), and got a 31 composite (E:33, M:30, R:31, S:28). I felt like my essay was fantastic, but I doubt that will change a college's outlook very much.

So anyway, I am applying early to Cornell (they superscore SAT) and my sat scores are already sent to them, but I was wondering if I should send my ACT scores to them, as well as the other colleges I'm applying to. Thanks.

I would not send it. Not only is a 33 ACT essentially the equivalent of your SAT scores, but the science subscore also doesn't look that great.

I would send the ACT to Cornell, the 31 is a pretty competitive score even if you are not too happy with the science section.

btw your overall SAT superscore would be 2070

your ACT score is essentially the same as your SAT score 31~1360-1400/2040
