Should I cancel my SAT math level 2 score?

Today is the last day to cancel the scores.
I am a senior and I took the October SAT math 2 and I think I did horribly.
I want to major in math/engineering or something and I read the thread that talks about the right and wrong answers and from what I understand I omitted 4 and missed about 6.
And those 6 are just the ones I know about who knows if I made other stupid mistakes.
Math is usually my best subject in school and I have already taken Calc AB (got high As both semesters) and i'm currently in Calc BC.

My question is should I just wait for my score even if it will be pretty bad? Or cancel, study, and take it again November 2nd? I checked and all the colleges i'm applying too accept tests from that date.

That depends on the score you were aiming for. 4 missed and 6 wrong is 800-10(44-raw score) and your raw score is 50-10=40 MINUS 6 wrong x .25 = 38.5 round up to 39. 800- 10(44-39)=750. That is actually very good and shouldn’t cause you to cancel your score even if you were aiming for an 800. Unless you actually got 10+ wrong I wouldn’t cancel, and if you were aiming for a 750, 10 wrong would give you a 710, which wouldn’t be bad and could be redone. You would feel silly I bet if you cancelled when your score would’ve been a 750.

I wouldn’t cancel that score. Like the person above me said, if what you posted is exact, you would get around 750. A few more silly mistakes could probably take you down to 700-720 max. Thats really not bad. When I took Math Level 2 last June, I left 9 blank (not sure how many I got wrong) and still got 760. Just wait to see your score. If you want to take it again, then register late for November or another time.

the curve isn’t like the math section on the regular sat, so don’t cancel. If you don’t like it, just retake.
