Should I cancel my SAT II Math II score?

I took my SAT II in Math II today and I did not manage my time very well. I was on track until the early 40s when I messed up. In total I skipped 6 and I Rush answered about 3(which I am all relatively confident about). I am also very confident with all my other 41 answers. However, I didn't have time to go back and check. Should I cancel my score? I figured that even with some other mess ups I should above a 740 or something around that range. I know I definitely could have done better and I have high Ivy League ambitions, is something in the mid 700s acceptable to them? (not engineering if that matters at all) So should I cancel my scores? Would you?

No, you should not cancel them in my opinion. I think that usually getting 44 right is an 800, so you will be fine in the high 700s! Yes, mid-700s are acceptable to them, it depends more on a lot of other things! You could seriously even get an 800 if you’re lucky, and wouldn’t you regret canceling that? If you don’t get what you want you can just retake it, too.

Cancel 17% of people get an 800 on test it is the most generously curved of all sat 2’s if you are set on ivies a mid 7 is simply not enough. While in theory you have score choice many ivies such as yale require you to send in all tests this could be a avoided blemish

Do colleges really weigh a subject test all that much? I thought that to them, they first look at the scores and once that is good enough they look at everything else. According to admissions statistics of MIT it is from 740-800. From what I have heard as long as you are mid to high 700s you should be good. Am I wrong?

no i think you’re correct that the math ii isn’t that critical. i think anything over 750 would be considered good, even for mit. also, i wouldn’t cancel the score… why dont you wait and see how you did. cant you use scorechoice and choose to not send your june math ii if you are unhappy with the score you get back?
