Should I change my major ED

Hi,
I applied to syracuse ED. I put down Newhouse as my first choice, knowing it was reach but wanted to try. However, lately I am really doubting myself, at this point I just want to get into syracuse. IF I am not admitted to Newhouse but in my opinion think I am qualified for my second and third choice major of CRS, will they extend admission for that? Otherwise, should I contact the school and have them change my major? I am bugging out.
MY STATS:
3.85 UW GPA (All honors)
1200 Superscored SAT (THIS is my weak spot…)
EXTRA CURRICULARS:
School Newspaper
Tons of volunteering
Pre college enrichment trips
Co founder of 2 clubs

NO INTERVIEW (Tried to schedule one when we went for parents weekend we hit awful traffic… I called them and they were understanding)

Hooks:
My sister is currently a junior in Newhouse. I am guessing this could help me, but not sure. I think it’d be really cruel to deny a sibling.

I’m not going to lie, that SAT score might hurt you with newhouse, you might have a chance with CRS. If you’re really nervous about it though and you didn’t put a third choice contact them and add arts and sciences undecided as your third choice, or if you’re really desperate to get into syracuse, make your third choice falk, which is pretty easy to get into and then try to switch out once you get here

@livewire1097 ahh ok I though CRS along with Falk were the easiest majors. Has CRS gotten way harder to get into?
