Should I choose Fordham or Hunter College?

I was accepted to both Fordham and Hunter College. Hunter costs about 11000 while Fordham afford 24,000 award so I need to pay about 17000 with a 5000 loan a yr. Is Fordham worth the extra $6000 a yr with the loan?
Also, I apply majoring in biological science, which school has a stronger science major? And if i decide to change majors, what other majors does these school offer?
lastly, I wanted a safe, closely knit school communities. Since both colleges are big schools, what are the campus environment there? Is it a party school? Is it friendly with supportive faculty?
Any advice? Thanks in advance! Oh, also Juniata college is still considering me. it has a strong science program but it didn't give me a finanical package yet and is much farther away from me. Should i wait for them to reply?

Fordham is not worth 1K more than Hunter let along 13K per year. Go to Hunter.

Hunter College is very reputable, especially for its science programs. If you’re thinking of doing a science major, you’ll definitely learn a lot at Hunter.
Also, it’ll save you a buttload of money for if you decide to go to grad school.

Debt is real - go with Hunter

I would go with Hunter—reputable, well-known (at least within NY) and a good school. Highly unlikely you will be in debt when you graduate.

Hunter. Fordham is not worth the extra money, and Hunter’s considered one of the better CUNYs, and certainly a quality school. A teeny bit (not even that much) of name power isn’t worth 6k a year.
