Hey guys! I know how good CMU is in SCS, Engineering, and other STEM-related programs. I’ve wondered - how’s their business school? I’m interested in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Operations Research. My main goal is to get an MBA from an Elite-Level school and preferably go into Consulting, possibly Quantitative Finance. Would CMU seem like a good choice for me? I love their small class sizes and quantitative focus. The NPC is saying I’ll need ~40k a year, and I’ll probably graduate with ~80-100k in debt after parents helping me out and stuff.
But my main question - would Tepper be worth that debt vs., say, an Industrial Eng. degree with little debt from my state flagship (UF)? Do the very high starting salaries they have from SCS apply to the business school as well? How good is recruiting on campus?
