I’m in the early stages of founding a Big Brothers Big Sisters Club at my school to help gain interest and help to org get some publicity and recognition. Should I email my RD colleges (Northwestern, Princeton, and Stanford) about this? I’d ideally be waiting until the club is fully done and begun working, but considering how early it is to the decision dates, I’d like to inform them as much as possible. Is it worth informing them now or should I risk it and wait until it’s possibly too late to have an effect?
Thanks for the help
What would be the significance? It is now the second semester of your senior year already and it is the early stage of founding a new club. I would not contact the adcom for that. You may mention it in the application if it was in the process before the submission. It would be overdoing and annoying to contact the adcom for something that may or may not happen in the end and you would have little dedication in it up to this point.

@billcsho that’s kind of what I figured. I’d like to be able to contact them to be more of a person than an application, but don’t want to do it just to do it. Thanks for keeping me from overdoing it
