Should I contact Harvard about this mistake?

For the academic interest ranking I mistakenly switched the order (putting 5’s for “certain” and 1 for “uncertain”). In a submitted essay, I put I am determined to pursue X, likely making my mistake more-or-less evident.

I am assuming automatic rejection at my point - incredibly stupid on my part - but was wondering if it would be more beneficial to contact admissions or simply let it be. Thank you in advance.

It will not be an automatic rejection, and it’s really only used for demographics/planning purposes. You can certainly contact them to correct.

Wow, I have made the same mistake. I would never have noticed it, if it wasn’t for this post… Thanks

@skieurope according to their site https://college.harvard.edu/contact-us i can’t add or change something on the common application. Do you think i should just leave it alone?

I’d leave it alone.
