Typo in email to Admissions Officer

Hi All:

I was wait listed by Harvard, and sent an email to my admissions officer saying how Harvard was still my number one choice. In the email, I said that I know that this a challenging process, rather than I know this is a challenging process. I read the email a million times and still did not see the mistake. The admissions officer responded that the email would be added to my file. Are they going to catch this mistake? How much will this hurt me?

I would not worry about it. Even if they notice it, I doubt that it will hurt you.

If it makes you feel better, I didn’t even notice the typo until I read it again even though you specifically mentioned you had one. I doubt something like this would make a difference.
