I applied to CMU, whose deadline was 1/1, and just found out I submitted a draft for one of the supplements. This draft wasn’t too unpolished fortunately, it contained most of the things I wanted to say, but it was missing some edits and a final paragraph where I wrapped up and gave the essay a happy ending. Should I try contacting the admissions office and telling them that wasn’t my final version? Super stressed about this…
If it was truly a draft…means looks very unpolished/unedited…then I would reach out and attach the updated version. But, if it is more of a few refinements and a edited close, I wouldn’t reach out.
