Should I contact UF about my schedule change?

I had to drop two of my duel enrollment classes this semester because of time constraints and personal reasons. Now I'm regretting it because I think I got accepted because of the classes I took. Should I inform UF about this now, or do I just wait until I have to send my final transcript in the summer?

Do you think they'll take back my acceptance?

To be frank, UF does indeed take your schedule into account. It would be better to contact them now instead of conveying any signs of deceit.

I would contact admissions beforehand for the same reasons Dnation pointed out.

It’s better to let them know beforehand, rather than any conflicts with the final admission decision when they receive your final transcripts.

I’m in a similar situation as you, and have switched out of one of my classes 2nd semester(already had enough credits), and so I’m going to email them to give them a heads up and see what they think.

Gratz on getting in UF! :)

~ Theos

Hey! congrats to you too! How do you think you’re going to break the news? lol Are you just going to be straightforward, or more sympathetic? lol

I don’t want to make excuses but the reason I dropped was because I was sick and missed too many days, but I don’t know how to handle this email? or should I call?

Well Katrina, I’d recommend sending an email since you can better explain things. Admissions is really busy right now so calling them may be time restricting on their end, and if you email them you’ll at least have a reference to go by. I emailed admissions at least. :p
