Ok, so I'm a senior and i have 4 APs, AP computer science, Ap Stat, AP Calc AB and AP Bio. To be honest, i'm only taking AP Bio hoping to get a 4/5 on the AP exam and skip a science course in college. I am at all not interested in Bio and i am not going to major in anything related to Bio. Right now, i have like a D in the class. We had one test and i failed it and i'm getting Cs in the quizzes. I wanna take AP environmental science but turns out, most colleges don't provide enough science credit for it in college. I took AP Physics last year too and got a 2 (i know -,-). If i switch to AP ES right now, i can make up for whatever was missed and still fix the D in AP Bio since the new class's grade will be replaced. So, stay in the class and study while hating the class the whole year or switch to an easier AP and not get enough credit in college?
Thanks!

Chances are you won’t do well on the AP exam if you’re not doing well in the class to begin with, so you might as well just take APES.

Switch

Agreed, you might as well switch. I know AP Environmental Science is sometimes considered a joke AP on here, but it’s an informative, interesting class and an easy A, so why not take it?

Good luck!

But what about getting a 4/5 on the AP exam? What about not taking science in college and stuff??? Need help!

If you have a D in the class, you are unlikely to get a 4 or 5 on the AP exam, considering that it has a harsh curve. Switch to APES. Once you get to college, there are generally science classes for non-STEM students that are not so intense.
