AP Environmental Science?

I am going into my Junior year.
I'm not good at Bio (I got a B in Honors).
I'm good at Chem (I got an A in Honors).
I'm really good at math ( I'm taking Diff Eq and Complex Analysis in junior year).
Should I switch into AP Environmental Science?
I only want to switch in if I think that I'll get an A.

To do well in APES, you only need to understand simple arithmetic and basic concepts from biology and chem. There’s a fair amount of work you need to put in but it’s not excessive. It’s mostly reading, memorizing, and lectures (plus labs!)

If you’re interested in the material, then you probably won’t even mind the work and end up getting an A. Best of luck!

Which class are you thinking about switching out of?

@lumilie‌ I don’t like reading. Memorizing is ok. Lectures are for every class. Labs are fun.
Is it really that much reading? I hate reading.

@ribbonroad224‌ I’m thinking of switching out Honors Global Studies. It’s a Social Studies Graduating Requirement that I’ll just take Senior year.

Would you be taking any other social science classes junior year?

@ribbonroad224‌ I’m taking AP Chemistry in junior year too.

@sonofgod908 Yes, there will be lots of reading if you want to get an A. You could probably get a B without reading if you listen really closely to the lectures (depending on how thorough your teacher is).

If you don’t want reading, then don’t take APES. You should also avoid AP Euro and APUSH.
