Should I discuss engineering major on both my UC Essays?

The UC application stated that engineering applicants should discuss their intended major in their essays.

However, I am not sure if both of my essays should discuss my major
First, UC Berkeley doesn’t let second choice, so their isn’t much to write about in the second essay
Secondly, I personally think that one essay about the major is enough, and the other one should mainly focus on telling who I am, fit to the topic.

Help,

I can’t imagine it’s a good idea to focus on the major in both essays. You’re on the right track, speak about your major in one, explore your personality in the other. You are not your major - so make sure you give the admissions a clear picture of who you are.

@gabla6 thanks man, helping me out big time here

@Messipass Where did you see this information that engineering applicants should discuss intended major in essays?

@Ballerina016 It shows up when you choose Engneering majors

@Messipass could you post a link please? I only found this, but it is about application, not essay.

@Ballerina016 If you select one of the Engineering majors on your UC application (while selecting campuses and courses), a small box will pop up saying that applicants to Engineering majors are advised to write about their majors in one of the essays

Thank you @anotherdude . Found it.

Hm what happens if you don’t discuss your major? It really doesn’t fir in either of my essays.

Also, I chose undecided engineering because I really don’t know which engineering is my favorite.
