I am a rising senior and I am unsure on which ap I should drop, I am already for sure taking 3 AP's ( calc bc, goverment, and macro economics) and I don't want to overwhelm myself with too much work, so I have decided to drop either biology or lit.

Which class are you more passionate about, biology or lit? Keep that one and drop the other.

Don’t make a decision based upon which will look better. Make your decision based upon which you will enjoy more, learn more from, and perform better in.

English is an important core class so you shouldn’t drop AP Lit if it’s the hardest Eng class offered at your school.
If anything, drop Econ. You already have another social science AP.

If you did well in AP Lang, AP Lit is unnecessary unless you want to take it because you love literature. It can be a huge time commitment, with as much as a novel a week required in some schools. If you have never had another AP science, definitely keep AP Bio. If you have, it’s really up to you - take the one you like better.

Some colleges may give different levels of subject credit for AP English language versus literature.

What courses to choose depends on what your interests and strengths are.

Thank all for the responses! I think I am going to drop bio mainly because of all the negative things that I have heard about the class. The pass rate is really low at my school and the work load is way too much. I got a 3 on the AP lang exam so that doesn’t necessarily get me out of the required classes that I have to take in college.
