should I drop AP Stat (one period) and instead take Communications or Creative Writing or Photo or should I drop AP Bio (two periods) and instead take 2 of those classes

here's my courseload right now. it's way too much for me. I'm a junior
AP US History
AP Eng 11
AP Stat
AP Bio (2 periods, as stated above)
Honors Physics
Honors Precalc

am thinking of dropping bio.....because I'm already taking physics...

I guess what's really important to me IS....which one is easier to get a 5 on in the long-run??

well AP Bio in general is harder than AP Stats, but it probably won't look as good to have two electives rather than one. in my experience statistics has been more useful and interesting, but biology can be fun too.

You're a junior. Drop the bio. The rest of your classes describe what the colleges expect as a challenging combination of subjects for a junior. In the long run, nobody will care if you get a 5 on an AP. In the short run, college people will have questions about outside interests, hobbies, extra-curricular, community service, and such. I would recommend photograpy or creative writing to round out your experience. Colleges admit people, not AP grades.

You'll also do better in biology (and therefore better on the exam) if you have physics done first.

AP stat will be seen as the easiest class you are taking tho it is AP. if you are dropping anything drop STAT. physics is seen as very good, especially if you want to major in any science. i would do physics this year and AP chem next year.
