Should I drop Bio? Current grade is a C.

Hi CC dudes, I'm hoping I can get some advice or help with my current dilemma.

General Information:
This is my second year as a California Community College student.
Hoping to transfer to a CSUF, CSULB, Cal Poly Pomona and a few UC's as a Pre-Nursing Student or a different major in the Sciences/Biological sciences.

Stats:
Mediocore 3.25 GPA that was raised from a 2.83.
Zero ECs
Zero Ws
Two C's--one in Italian 101(5 units UC/CSU Transferable) and the other in Math40(4 units UC/CSU Non-transferable) which was basically a pre-algebra course. The rest A's with two B's.

Since my major/possible majors require a solid understanding of general Biology, how would this look if I chose to drop the course with a W or decided to just take the C; however, a B is might still possible, although it might be a far-fetch unless my prof. ridiculously curves the grade. Which choice would be a wise choice for me to make?
Also, Im hoping to apply this Fall to the CSU's, and if I do get a C and I do well in the rest of my classes, my GPA will be at around 3.32-36. Is that CSU worthy or should I drop with a W?

A 3.3 GPA is UC worthy. You could even TAG to UCI, UCSB, and UCD.

I believe UCI is the only UC that has a major that will allow you to graduate as a RN

Lawlking: Actually, UCD and UCLA offer it too.
LAforlife: Thanks, I wasnt aware of that.

Also, another reason I wanted to drop the course was to remain consistent in raising my GPA–you know since alot of UCs like to see that–but do the CSUs focus on that? Will dropping a five unit course look bad to the CSUs?

Tito

Ya, if you choose not to apply to nursing, I strongly recommend to look into TAG for those UCs.
