If you really want to go to Stanford, you should apply. You'll regret it if you don't. You have a good GPA with what could be good ECs, so if you'll have strong recommendations and essays you could get in.

<thank you="" mucho=""></thank>

Why wouldn't you apply? You never know about admissions these days so it wouldn't hurt to apply to your dream school..

I agree with marlgirl. I wanted to apply to most of the UCs and my parents said go for it. If you don't apply, you'll never know if you might have been accepted, they said, and would regret it. Just don't feel bad if you get rejected by most, because at least you tried, they said. So I applied to 8 and got accepted by 6, including my dream school, Berkeley. All the things people say on this board have some truth to them, but everyone is different, and you never know until you try.

Your GPA and SAT are fine. Just apply and see what happens ^_^.
