The AP CS score might look bad. I got a 1 on the AP Bio, and it’s scaring me.

I might have gotten a 2/3 on AP Spanish and Physics C E/M this year…would that look bad?
I thought we could self-report scores?

you don’t have to report AP scores
@tomjones, yes, AP scores are self-reported

Uhm, unless you smoked pot and did nothing else whatsoever over high school, got straight C’s, etc, I probably can’t imagine there being a legitimate barrier towards ever making it in, especially to a school like Stanford. Chances are, if you’re around here on CC and performing decently in school, you have a shot and have to make some kind of case for yourself. Most people, qualified or not, will be rejected. A few, qualified in the school’s eyes, will be accepted. Basically what I mean is, almost anyone making this sort of thread should apply and work on marketing themselves, because Stanford of all schools seems the last kind to rule an applicant out based on anything.

of course you should apply!
even though you are the stereotypical Asian (no offense), a lot of them do get accepted
