hello everyone. i want to study medicine and became very interested in the BA/MD programs being offered. however i know that they're fiercely competitive and have strict cut-offs for GPA.

here are my stats
GPA: 3.2
SAT I: 2300 (800 Math, 780 Critical Reading)
SAT Chemistry: 750
SAT Physics: 740
SAT Biology: 780
SAT World History: 800

i know my GPA is low but is there any program that i might be able to get accepted into. i really want to study medicine and have almost 300 hours of volunteer work with a physician.

you should def. apply...there's nothing wrong with applying! Just make sure you have solid undergrad schools, too. Your SAT scores are amazing! Also, 300 hours of volunteer work is awesome.

do try for sure but......heres my thought when i look at ur scores
A brilliant student who is pretty lazy (in school). The 300 hours is good but u may need to really show ur passion like i will........

right now i am volunteering but im deciding to like volutneer at Redcross and get involved in reserach etc. U may want to do that if u have timee

i'm also thinking about applying to a foreign medical school. i'd love to go to AGA Khan however I'm not sure how many Americans apply and how many get in.
