Should I even send a letter of recommendation

<p>I checked UCI and UCLA and they do not consider recommendations.
So does that mean they don't even accept it?</p>

<p>One of my teachers can write a very good letter of recommendation for me but if they don't even matter then I shouldn't even bother.</p>

<p>UC’s do not accept letters of recommendation. Don’t waste the stamp.</p>
