Should I fight for it?

I'm really mad at my new school for ****ing up my schedule. If you seen any posts or threads I have made, you probably already know that. Well now here's the deal. I'm basically devoting a full credit worth of my free time to photo over the whole year and paying all the studio fees so i can use the dark room. Apparently photo can't fit into my schedule. Kind of sucks for someone who wants to major in photo. I asked them in march if I could do an independent study if we ran into scheduling conflicts and they said no because I was a new student. If you were in my situation, would you fight for credit? I don't know if it is worth it. I love photo so whether i get credit or not I'm doing it for my portfolio's sake but is it worth fighting for?

I think if you are paying for it, they should do something to fit it into your schedule, etc. I think you should have your parents call, as they are probably the ones paying for it, and they can probably get your schedule switched or something worked out more efficiently.
