Yesterday I was taking the make up test for the November SAT and my proctor didn't give a warning that we had just five minutes left and I just started the first few words of my conclusion paragraph when she said time was up, should I file a complaint? And if I do will I benefit or have to take the SAT again? Also, what score would an essay get if it doesn't have a conclusion but fills everything but the last 4 lines?

The proctor isn’t obligated to warn you so you have no case. And we can’t predict your essay score without reading it.

^That is incorrect. The proctor IS supposed to say “You have five minutes remaining in this section” five minutes before the time is up for each section, according to the SAT Standard Testing Room Manual. I think this is worth complaining about, even if nothing happens except that the next time the proctor does what is expected of him or her.

Obviously you’ve already made up your mind. Just do it then.

Yes, please file it. I regret not filing a complaint when the proctor gave us a break in the middle of a writing section -_-.
