So I’m going into my senior year, however the way my program works out is that I have 3 semesters left even tho I’ve taken 15+ credits every semester at school. Anyway it’s a little late for thoughts about a minor, but for my major I have to have at least 15 credits of an outside concentration. My current choice was business, but I kind of hate it, I am interested in sciences (especially electrical and aerospace sciences) and was going to pursue a minor in EE but to do that I’d have to take 2 physics classes to even enter the program, where if I did a physics minor, I’d do the two physics classes and then be like 1/4th of the way to a minor. If I took a class each semester and each summer semester I could graduate on time, but would it be worth it? Any advice is welcomed!
EE goes very well with CS.
Do you think I should do it even tho I’d have to take 3 courses just to qualify? (I’d have to take 2 physics classes, and a differential equations class) before even starting on it.
It’s really up to you. If you don’t mind spending extra time in school I would say go for it. Having any engineering on your resume is a great thing to have since it shows employers you have dedication and skill.
