Sorry if this seems long, but I have a few questions. I'm a senior in high school, and am reaching that point where I need to apply for colleges. I live in Oklahoma, and have always hated it here. I do not fit in with the extreme religious and conservative people. I'm actually from the west coast. I've been looking at going to college at UCF (university of Central Florida) and I have done a lot of research. It seems to be quite expensive for out of state, but a good school (far better than oklahoma) and one that I could get into. I have a 25 on the ACT (with a 3.98 GPA), and I'm taking it again expecting a 25-30.

Another option I have been considering however is to get my AA from Valencia College in Orlando, and transfer over to UCF after. I'd get a job and I was wondering how hard it is to establish residency. That aside, would I be able to etch a life in community college? There is no dorms that I know of, so I would have to life in a cheap apartment. Making friends is important to me. Anyways, I'm sorry for the bad writing -im not trying to make this perfect - and any help is great. First hand experiences would be awesome as well. Thanks!
