I am a senior in high school and have gotten in the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and University of Toledo. I am intending on pursuing the pre-med track regardless of where I go. In order to get into med school, I heard I need to maintain a good GPA. I also heard Umich is notoriously a GPA killer.
Does anyone know if it is any harder for me to maintain a proper GPA (3.5+) in Toledo than Umich? For refrence, I maintained a GPA of 4.00 throughout high school while doing the IB diploma.
Also, a little side note, I got accepted into a medical program in Toledo called Bacc2MD which means I have a guaranteed interview for their med school after my second year there while having a 3.5+ and wanted to know if that is advantageous in any way over the prestige of Umich?
