Should I have a full schedule?

Hi there,
It's the first week of school and I already feel like I'm falling behind.
This year, I'm taking 3 APs: Lit/Comp, Calc and Bio. Bio is really really hard for me (even on the 3rd day) and I feel that if I were to continue the class, i'd probably end up with a C for semester. I really don't want a C on my transcript so I was thinking about dropping the class and only taking 5 classes this year (our school offers 6 classes a day). How would colleges (Tufts, UCB) look at this? Would I be in a severe disadvantage when i try to apply?
Thanks!

If you know you'll get a C, then yes it might be better to drop.

How does your senior year schedule compare to your junior year schedule? Are there more/less core classes? If there's a significant decrease in core classes, it might look as if you're slacking.

No, you can have a study hall. Most people have at least one anyway.
