I looked on some college profiles on Common App, and I saw that SAT I and ACT are both "required", but, as far as I know, only one of them is actually required. I'm an international, I did well on the SAT(>2300), I also have subject tests, but I never took ACT. Will my chances be affected if I don't have the ACT, or is it entirely optional if I have the SAT?

Nearly every school that requires SAT/ACT will require one or the other, but not both. You did really well on the SAT, so I wouldn’t worry about taking the ACT.

don’t bother taking it!
