Should I hope for NU, or is it just a dream that will not come true?

NU is one of my top choices. I really wanted to hear from current NU students if I have a chance for NU or not. Be brutally honest. I can take it :D

Interview for NU: went really great. The interviewer even gave me his business card, which was awesome. We talked about piano recordings and other stuff. I was happy with the way it turned out.
Essays: commonapp was about when I moved to the U.S. from Iran 5 years ago. Talked about learning English in a non-cliche way.
NU supplement: talked about specific research programs for bio at Weinberg. Basically tried to convey my passion for the school.

Btw, are there any other ways that I can demonstrate interest other than interview? If so, please mention it :D

Thanks for reading and have a great day :)

You do bring in a certain different perspective which adds to the diversity of NU. Looks promising. Good Luck!

Thanks @northwesterndad

any other inputs for NU will be greatly appreciated. Should I even think about NU, or is the applicant for RD much stronger than me?

As I have said to almost everyone else who asks this question and is as qualified as you are, as the years go on, the statistics for admission just become worse and worse. Honestly, it just comes down to luck. I think you are very much qualified, but frankly who knows if you will get in. Good luck!

thx a lot @majman. Yea at this point I just have to believe in luck :D

Got rejected :frowning:

Rejected…

Very sorry to hear it. I am certain some other college will be lucky to have you. Good Luck!
