Should I independently study AP macro or micro economics?

I am a senior in high school and since I am only taking one AP exam this year (psych), I want to try and clear some college classes. I am interested in economics, more micro than macro. So, should I take macro to try and get it out of the way, or micro because of interest? Is there one that is easier than the other? Or should I take both or neither?

If you want college credit, take clep exams if your college accepts it. They’re a lot easier, typically all multiple choice, and free using modern states. They can also be taken any time during the year.

If your goal is to self-study AP exams for college credit, then now is your last chance while you are still in HS. Were you already admitted somewhere? The two Econ exams are considered to be doable for self-study. Khan Academy has AP Micro and Macro courses: https://www.khanacademy.org/economics-finance-domain
