Should I lie about my ethncity?

First off, "American" isn't an ethnicity. Secondly, is it really worth getting found out? Consider the moral aspects. Would it be right for you to get in as a result of your dishonesty and take the place of someone else?

It doesn't really matter anyway, since "White" and "Asian" are treated pretty much the same way. You could, however, just not put any race at all, though I doubt that gives you much of an advantage.

EDIT: I'm not sure what happened with my post... Happy2102 is the original poster.

Should I say that I’m not Korean on the Common App and just say I’m American?

American is not an ethnicity on the common app. Lying is not really a good idea and may ruin your chances of going to your dream school.
Plus being Korean may give you an advantage since it is a minority.
