I have lots of EC’s activities and some of them is not as important or enjoyable as other ones. If I list all of my EC’s in the application, Is it going to be seem bad or unimpressive? I am thinking that I should write some of them that I enjoyed and loved in order to express my passionate about it. Does it seem low? Please help, I am confused again and again…
On the Commonapp, you get 10 EC slots, and it tells you to order them in order of their importance to you. List as many as you can within the given space, and just put the ones that are less important to you near the bottom.
List whatever will give you the best shot at admission.
List them in order of importance to you. You don’t have to fill out all ten slots either.
I agree with what @T26E4 says. The most important takes priority. However, I would suggest trying to break it down to only the few things you really spent time and dedication on; otherwise you seem like you’re padding your application. If you really think you need to try and explain why you did the extracurriculars you did, I would try and write about it.
