Should I make the push to apply for Foster in the Fall, or should I just wait later?

I am a freshman and have 37 credits so far. In order to apply to Foster under UAG in the fall I need 60 credits. I was thinking of taking 16 credits in the spring and 7 credits in the summer to get the 60 credits I need.

My pre-app GPA is 3.70 (but I still need Fin. Acctg; I'm taking it in the summer) and my cumulative GPA is 3.23 (b/c I did poorly in my pre-engineering courses). Should I make the push to apply next fall or play it a little safer by taking like 13 credits in the spring and no classes in the summer (or at least the one Fin. Acctg) class? However, if I do this then the next time I can apply would be the spring of my sophomore year...

Thanks.

Your cumulative is a bit low, but i don’t see why you can’t just apply now. If you get in, great, if not, apply again later

I am applying under EAG, but I probably won’t get in. I only have 37 credit at the moment–need 23 more. To do that I need to take 16 credits in the spring and 7 credits in the summer, including Acctg 215.
